How do you put down roots and create a sense of place in a neighborhood undergoing radical transformation? How do we think about plant life and attachment to place where wasteland vegetation is retreating to grow living and working spaces and gardens?

Bénédicte Ramade, curator of the exhibition Faire lieu : taking roots, presented as part of Les Rendez-vous Angus, invites three panelists to reflect on the relationship of human. e. s to nature in the city.

Annie France Leclerc visual artist has worked extensively on the Boisé-de-Saint-Sulpice park, Sarah Martin is coordinator of Bouffe-Action’s Rosemont collective gardens, and Andrée-Claude Paquette is in charge of the green alley project at the Société écocitoyenne de Montréal.
